Family: 4 great kids; ages 15, 13, 11 & 8 and one awesome husband.

Favorite Food: it's pretty hard to name just one, but carrot cake with cream cheese frosting ranks right up there.

Previous Employment: teaching elementary music.

A book that has inspired you and why: Power of a Praying Parent and Power of a Praying Wife have both inspired me to pray for my family and trust God with the results.

Verse in the Bible that has been significant for you: "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

A truth about God that amazes you: that He rejoices over us with singing.

Favorite place you've lived/visited: Northern Michigan on a beautiful summer day.

Something you've yet to do that you really want to do: learn how to play guitar. Actually, I just want to be really good at it without having to practice.

When did God open your eyes to Him? He has been so faithful! Since childhood I've been able to sing "Jesus loves me, this I know." Praise God that He continues to pursue me and guide me in life this side of heaven.

If everyone would just walk with Jesus the world would be a better place.
