A book that has inspired you and why: If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat. It really made me think about getting outside of my comfort zone and trying to live out my faith more fully and using the gifts God gave me.
Verse in the Bible that has been significant: Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
A truth about God that amazes you: That He loves me in spite of my shortcomings and He will never leave me.
The reason you love Voice of Hope: We are such a close family, I love each and every person in church and I enjoy worshipping with them. I love the transparency of everyone, genuine caring.
When did God open your eyes to Him: I grew up in a Christian home but I really felt a closeness to God in 1992 when I was going through my divorce and felt like my world was coming apart. It was then that I fell to my knees and really fully depended on God to get me through.
